About Plaza Madeira
Opened to the public in 2007 in the heart of Funchal, it was the first Portuguese shopping center inspired by bioclimatic architecture. Featuring a modern and spacious design, the architecture uses sunlight to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
With more than 60 shops, several restaurants and cafes, a Pingo Doce supermarket, a pharmacy, and a gym, Plaza Madeira’s main concern is to provide all of our visitors a unique, different, and complete visit.
In addition, our center has a covered parking lot with a capacity of 859 spaces distributed over three levels.
